Weather: Dry and sunny.
This Open University field trip was organised as a revision for the S339 course, in advance of the associated residential course at Kindrogan,in Perthshire, in July 2012. It was a two day visit, but I joined the group only for the first day. Geologists can use structures like those shown below to interpret the larger scale structures within orogenic belts.
